What is our return policy?

My goal is for you to be happy with the item(s) you ordered.

The best way to get a resolution is to email us: weightwoodworking@gmail.com

Can I return my order?

Products that can be returned:

  • New/unused products that were not custom ordered

  • Products damaged during transit

  • Defective products

  • Products made with error on my part

Products that cannot be returned:

  • Products that have come into contact with food (it is a violation of health regulations for us to accept these)

  • Products that were ordered more than 30 days ago

  • Products with no proof of purchase (we store records of every order in our system)

  • Incorrectly ordered pieces due to customer error

  • Custom work

We understand that every circumstance is different, so if you have an issue with your item please contact me: weightwoodworking@gmail.com. Weight Woodworking is not responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged during transit. We suggest using a shipper that provides tracking information (I prefer UPS).
Once I receive the return, I will contact you to let you know that the return is processed and your refund is applied.

What is our warranty policy?

Due to the nature of wood, it has a tendency to move any change over time. Any non-structural crack that is not major will not be warrantied. I warranty that all pieces that I build will last you for many years to come and I want you to be happy with your purchase. Please contact me with any questions: weightwoodworking@gmail.com

What to do if my piece is damaged/defective?

If your item is damaged in transit please send an image of the item and damaged package unopened. If the package was in perfect condition but the item was damaged just send a picture of it.

If you believe your item is defective, please send a picture of the item and defective area.

What is our shipping policy?

Shipping varies depending on the piece, and larger pieces may require special handling/freight. I ship most orders via UPS. Please email me with any questions regarding shipping

 

How long will it take to receive my item?

If you order an item that is in stock, I will ship it within 3 business days. If it is a custom item, please send me an email as these can range from a few weeks to a couple of months depending on what it is and my back log of orders.

What do I do if I never received my order?

Please contact me ASAP and I will take care of it. I need to know within 30 days to be able to submit a claim, so anything outside of this will make it extremely difficult to find your item and get it replaced if necessary.
